Florida Supreme Court Denies Appeal

Click here for a link to the courts decision Justice Charles Wells was an author of the decision despite his having been a friend of the late Orange County sheriff, Mel Colman, at the time of the crimes, and despite a letter to him prior to oral arguments that specifically reminded him of his own personal knowledge of the case.
